This is Charlotte as a brand new “Purple Girl”. She moved up to Level 3A in ballet and so now she gets to wear the purple leotard. She worked so hard this year at her new studio, perfecting her technique and strengthening her core muscles. Her studio does not automatically promote dancers to the next level every year, so she was very happy to have moved up in time to be a Purple Girl before summer workshops.

Boo is a new Second Class Boy Scout! He worked hard to make sure he met all the requirements before going to camp this summer.

All set and ready to go!

We rented a 31 foot RV for our trip to Florida for our 2nd Disney Cruise. The children were so excited, especially Boo. He’d been wanting us to get an RV for quite a while now.
All ready for bed.

This is three of the sleeping areas in the RV. Where Boo is sleeping turned back into 2 bench seats with a table between them. Where Nicholas is sleeping was a sideways-facing set of bench seats. Most of the time he actually slept in the loft area with Charlotte. The “master bedroom” was in the back of the area and had an extendable area that fit a queen size bed.
Charlotte liked playing with the iPad during the trip.

Nicky B took his turn at the wheel.

He said, “It’s on cruise control!” To which Charlotte replied, “That’s good because your feet don’t reach the pedals.”
Boo spent the first 5 hours talking to Phil before getting out his iPod. He was excited to be allowed to sit in the front seat and he got a chance to read the Triptik and help navigate.

Just a cute picture of Peter sitting in the loft area.

Hi everyone! We’re making some changes to our family blog to make it easier to use. First, you will no longer need a user name or password. You can access our blog like you would any other website.
Because we use our children’s real names, their privacy and security is our top priority. We will be keeping an eye on our blog’s traffic. If we see that visitors from locations we do not recognize, we will go back to having user names. So please do not share our blog’s address without asking us first.
Also, feel free to save any of the pictures to your own hard drive, print them out, scrapbook them…but do not post them or link back to them on any other site.
I hate to sound all bossy and full of rules, but this really is for the protection of our children.
You can now subscribe to our blog in your feed reader – the button is at the top of the page. Or if you want the posts to be delivered right to your email click here:

Here’s a video celebrating Charlotte’s first 10 years. There are two songs, so make sure you watch the whole thing.
